Brest unveils its new organizational chart. The Finistère club announced on Sunday its new organizational chart, with increased powers for the new coach, Julien Lachuer.

What's changing?

The recent 12th place finisher in Ligue 1 will now be managed by a single steering committee for both the professional and training sectors. It will consist of President Denis Le Saint and his brother Gérard, co-owners, Pascal Robert (General Manager) and new arrival Jules Diatta (Sports Legal Director).

Why is this important for Brest?

The place of players from the training center in the professional squad remains insufficient, the club regrets. Stade Brestois now intends to make up for this shortfall by making training a major strategic axis.

The club announces its intention to focus on youth and the Finistère pool, as French football is affected by a TV rights crisis. Finally, Brest is currently in 12th place in Ligue 1, with 39 points, 10 wins, 9 losses, and 15 draws in 34 games, and a goal difference of -12.

What's next?

The recruitment cell will be completely renewed, the SB29 also declares. The club must now focus on the upcoming season and the challenges it faces, including competition with other Ligue 1 clubs, such as Paris Saint Germain, which has a 37-point lead over Brest.
