Stade Brestois will then host Stade Rennais, 6th in the last season, in the opening match. Parisians will face Olympique de Marseille as early as September 20, on the occasion of the 5th round of the championship. The return match will take place on the weekend of February 7 at the Parc des Princes. Stade Brestois will finish against Lens, while Lorient will go to Marseille and Le Mans will go to Lille. A duel between West clubs will oppose Stade Rennais and Angers Sco. Auxerre will host Le Havre and Strasbourg will finish in front of their public, against Nice.
