Julien Lachuer, 49, was Éric Roy's assistant for three and a half years at Brest. He is the younger brother of former Châteauroux, Auxerre, and PSG player Yann Lachuer.
Why this choice for Brest?
The Le Saint brothers, who have been at the helm of the Breton club for ten years, are opting for continuity. Brest is also looking to replace its sports director Grégory Lorenzi, who left for Marseille.
What challenge for Julien Lachuer?
Taking the place of « King Eric » is a significant challenge. Arriving at the start of 2023 on the SB29 bench, he had saved the team from relegation before qualifying them for the Champions League the following season.
